Good communication with parents is key to the success of children and your child care setting . Effective communication is learned and doesn't come naturally for many of us. In this workshop, you will learn what effective communication looks like and how to put it into practice. We will practice the art of listening and learn how our brains work with regard to communication. The barriers to effective communication will also be discussed. Communication with difficult parents will be addressed and you will learn steps in how to deliver difficult messages to parents.
