Each child is unique and complex, which can make them very difficult to understand. Young children don't engage us in a conversation to explain to us why they are doing what they're doing or what they know. In order to comprehend young children, we need to begin by observing. In this workshop you will learn and put into practice how to objectively observe young children's behavior. You will also practice how to document your observations and use your observations in improving your effectiveness as a teacher and in working with young children.
