Frequently Asked Questions

How much do you charge and how are you funded?

This is a free program to children enrolled at the schools we service. Options Enrichment Program is funded through an After School Safe Neighborhood Program grant also known as ASES (After School Education and Safety Program).

What are the hours of operation and where are you located?

The Options Enrichment Program operates every day in which the school is open. The program is operated on the school campus, usually inside of the cafeteria, starting from the school’s dismissal time until 6:00 P.M. This includes early release days. We do not operate during winter or spring break.

How do I enroll?

The parent/guardian will need to call the main office and inquire about enrolling their student(s). If enrollment is full, the student(s) will be placed on a waiting list and the parents/guardians will be notified when an opening is available.

However, if the school has an opening, the parent/guardian will be given further instructions as to where and when to fill out an application for enrollment.

Do you have a before school program?

We are an after-school program program. Please contact our Surround Care division for further information.

What are your requirements?

Students must be attending the school where the Enrichment Program operates and must be able to attend every day the program is operating and be able to stay until closing/6:00 pm.

What if my student is unable to stay until the required time?

The Options Enrichment Program can make certain exceptions on a case by case situation.

My student is involved in other after-school activities; can they still attend the program?

Yes, The student will need to check in with the site staff and return to the Enrichment Program once the other activity has ended. If the activity is held off campus then the parent/guardian will be required to fill out an Early Release Form.

Does the program provide a snack for the student?

An afternoon snack and drink is given to every student.

Do you provide transportation?

We do not provide transportation to and from our program.

Will the Options Enrichment Program be open for students during summer time?

If we are open for students during the summer time parents will be notified via flyer.

If I have any other questions, whom do I contact?
