This workshop presents information about the basic physiology of the brain followed by key findings from recent brain development research. We'll take a look at the major structures of the brain and theories they play. We'll discuss possible applications of research findings and strategies on how to stimulate infant and toddler brain development. In this workshop, participants will learn how children learn holistically from their environment and how they acquire general knowledge and understanding about the brain. As well, participants will practice how to facilitate intellectual growth.
