In this workshop, we will discuss cognition and daily math and science activities that infant and toddlers can do while at play; either during free play, that is child-led or when the teacher is guiding the activity. Children learn through play while they are being curious about their surroundings or when they are being introduced to new learning concepts. In this workshop, we will explore simple activities in which we can help young children develop early math skills as well as challenging their scientific reasoning.
