Read Across America Month - a great success!

2018 Read Across America - Click below to view video

Every year, Options for Learning's Committee for Educating Policy Leaders (CEPL) invites community leaders to visit our child development programs in celebration of Read Across America.  We always have a fantastic turnout and the children are delighted to have visitors read to them.  Since Dr. Seuss's birthday is celebrated in March, his beloved classics are often chosen for this event.

Read Across America is an opportunity to connect with the children in our programs and see the importance of literacy in action at our various centers.  After reading to the children, our guests are encouraged to stay for continued learning activities and games involving the book they just read.

Look who came to read this year...
