The Social Emotional Development of Young Children training is comprised of two (2) sessions:
Part A is from 10:30am to 12pm
Part B is from 1pm to 2:30pm
Both parts will need to be completed to receive a certificate of completion.
This training begins with a discussion of social and emotional development, the functions of behaviors, and the role of the ECE provider to offer a system of behavior supports and management that set children on a path to school success. The training focuses on resources from the National Center for Pyramid Model Innovations (NCPMI), the California Preschool Curriculum Foundations®, California Infant/Toddler Learning & Development Foundations®, and the California ECE Competencies®
