Many adults feel uncomfortable talking about race with young children; some adults may feel children are too young to talk about race. Babies are not color-blind and the topic of race is a much needed conversation in today’s society. In this workshop, we will discuss the difference between race vs. ethnicity; as well, we will review techniques on how talk about race and how to create anti-racist Early Childhood Spaces.
