About the Training:
This training provides an overview of the challenges experienced by children in the foster care system. The Emergency Child Care Bridge For Foster Children Program will be introduced as a resource to assist child care providers working with foster children that may have experienced trauma. The concepts of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and trauma-informed care will be discussed. A full explanation
of services through the Bridge Program will be reviewed.
