Parents have their own way of communicating with their children. As a caregiver, it is also important to support home language communication skills with Child Development Best Practices. In this workshop, we will discuss techniques on how to develop deeper relationships with young children by learning how to read their socio-emotional signals and non-verbal cues. As well, we will discuss techniques on how to strengthen relationships with parents to provide continuity of care in a holistic manner, both at school and at home. Educators will walk away with techniques to share with parents on how to support social-emotional and language skills as a team.
