Frequently asked questions

How much do you charge and how are you funded?
This is a free program for children enrolled at the schools which we serve. Options for Learning's Enrichment Program is funded through an After School Safe Neighborhood Program grant also known as After School Education and Safety Program (ASES).

What are the hours of operation and where are you located?
The Enrichment Program operates every day that the school is open. The program is operated on the school campus, usually inside the cafeteria, starting from the school’s dismissal time until 6 p.m. This includes early release days. We do not operate during winter or spring break.

How do I enroll?
Please visit our Getting started page.

What are your requirements?
Students must be attending the school where the Enrichment Program operates and must be able to attend every day the program is operating. To get the best learning experience, we recommend that students stay until the end of the program.

What if my student is unable to stay until the required time?
Certain exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.

My student is involved in other after-school activities; can he or she still attend the program?
Yes, the student will need to check in with site staff and return to the Enrichment Program once the other activity has concluded. If the activity is held off-campus, then the parent/guardian will be required to fill out an early release form.

Does the program provide a snack for the student?
An afternoon snack and drink are provided for every student.

Do you provide transportation?
We do not provide transportation to or from our program.

Is the Enrichment Program open for students during summer?
If we are open for students during the summer, parents will be notified via a flyer.
