At Options for Learning, we offer a wide range of programs that support children, families, child care providers, and communities. From infant and toddler care to preschool, school-age programs, child care referrals, payment assistance, provider resources, and family support services, our work is designed to meet families where they are and help them move forward with confidence.
Options for Learning is dedicated to making sure every child can access quality early learning and school-age programs, no matter their family’s financial situation. Our center-based programs are primarily funded through federal, state, and local contracts, which allow us to offer free or low-cost care to families who are working, continuing their education or career training, or actively seeking work.
We also offer a limited number of fee-based classroom spaces for families who do not qualify for state or federal programs.
Strong early experiences help children build the skills, confidence, and curiosity they need to thrive. Our center- and home-based early learning programs provide nurturing environments where children can learn, grow, and feel supported at every stage.
Families need trusted care beyond the school day. Our school-age programs provide safe, enriching environments for children before school, after school, and during breaks at select locations.
Finding child care can feel overwhelming. Our Resource and Referral team offers free, personalized referrals to help families explore local options that match their needs.
Quality child care should be within reach. We help eligible families explore financial assistance programs that can reduce the cost of care.
Child care providers play an essential role in our communities. We offer resources that help providers start, grow, and strengthen their programs.
Families thrive when they feel connected and supported. We provide helpful tools, education, and community resources for every stage of the parenting journey.
