Resources for early educators and child care providers

Options for Learning is dedicated to helping licensed child care providers grow and succeed. We offer training, resources, and business support through educational workshops, group trainings, and one-on-one assistance from Options for Learning staff and trusted partners. The Family Child Care Food Program serves licensed family child care home providers who participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and the children enrolled in their care.

We want all our providers to be successful with the Food Program. Our team is here to assist you in serving nutritious meals that meet reimbursement requirements.

When you join our referral system, you can connect with families looking for quality child care and open the door to ongoing enrollment opportunities. Here is how the process works:

• A family applies for the subsidized Voucher Program.

• Once approved, the family either selects a child care provider or receives child care referrals. Depending on available funding, they may choose a center, licensed home, or exempt provider.

• The child care agreement is between the family and the provider. Options for Learning pays the provider on the family’s behalf.

• Providers are reimbursed in accordance with state regulations and their usual rates to the public.
