We believe every family should have access to quality early learning opportunities. Many of our programs are free or low-cost for eligible families in our service area. We also offer fee-based program options for families who do not qualify for subsidized care or who prefer those options.

Many families are surprised to learn they qualify for financial assistance to help pay for child care. Our education advisors can help you understand your eligibility, explain available programs, and find the option that best fits your family.

Because many of our programs are funded through state and federal sources, eligibility is based on several factors, which may include:

Options for Learning serves families throughout the San Gabriel Valley with 67 convenient locations and 161 classrooms offering a variety of early learning and school-age programs.

Options for Learning serves children from birth through age 14 throughout the San Gabriel Valley. We offer a variety of programs designed to support children at every stage of their learning and development.

Programs include:

• Infant and toddler care: birth to 36 months
• Preschool: Children ages 2-5
• Support for TK-age children
• Elementary and middle school programs: grades TK-8

Call us: Speak with one of our education advisors at 626-699-8070. We'll answer your questions, help you explore your options, and guide you through the enrollment process.

Apply online: Complete our short online form with some basic information, including your name, phone number, email address, preferred contact time, preferred city for care, primary language, and how we can best support your family. Once we receive your information, one of our education advisors will contact you to discuss your options, answer your questions, and help you find the program that's the best fit for your child and family.

To help make the enrollment process as smooth as possible, we encourage you to gather the following information and documents before meeting with your education advisor:

• Verification of employment and proof of other household income or verification of enrollment in school or a training program
• For each child under age 18 living in the household: a birth certificate, hospital certificate, or baptism/church record
• For the child enrolling in the program: Immunization records or documentation of a plan for the child to be fully immunized by the program start date
• Proof of your current home address

Depending on your family's circumstances, additional documentation may be needed. Your education advisor will let you know exactly what's required and guide you through each step of the process.

Our goal is to connect eligible families with care as quickly as possible. Some of our programs have immediate openings, while others may have a waitlist depending on the location, program, and current demand.

Enrollment timelines vary based on program availability and how quickly required documentation is submitted. Throughout the process, your education advisor will keep you informed, help you gather any needed documentation, and let you know what to expect every step of the way.

Our teachers partner with families to support each child's potty-training journey through encouragement, consistency, and age-appropriate guidance. We'll work with you to help your child build confidence as they learn this important developmental skill.
