Preschool children eating lunchOptions for Learning’s Home-based Nutrition Program helps licensed child care providers serve nutritious meals and snacks while receiving reimbursement through the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).

Along with financial support, providers gain access to training, guidance, menu planning, and ongoing assistance that help children thrive and programs succeed. Our knowledgeable staff will help you navigate requirements and ensure you and the children in your care are supported throughout your participation. We serve providers in English, Spanish, and Chinese.

The Nutrition Program is inclusive of all children from ages 0 to 12 and can accommodate children with special dietary needs.

We serve a wide area beyond the San Gabriel Valley, from Glendale to Rialto and from Altadena to Long Beach. Some of the cities we serve include: Alhambra, Cerritos, Downey, Glendora, La Puente, Ontario, Rosemead, Azusa, Covina, El Monte, Hacienda Heights, Monrovia, Pasadena, West Covina, Baldwin Park, Diamond Bar, Huntington Park, Montebello, Pico Rivera, and Whittier.

To file a program discrimination complaint, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, AD-3027, found online at How to File a Program Discrimination Complaint and at any USDA office or you may write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. To request a copy of the complaint form, call 866-632-9992. Submit your completed form or letter to USDA by:

Information on WIC for families

WIC (Women, Infants and Children) helps support the health of pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to age 5 who have nutritional needs. The program provides healthy foods to supplement a family’s diet, guidance on eating well, breastfeeding education and support, and referrals to health care services.
