Options for Learning will offer consolidated school-age programs on select dates while Rowland Unified School District is closed from Monday through Friday, March 30 to April 3, from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Give your child a safe, structured, and joyful space to explore interests, build confidence, and have fun. Each day features engaging activities — from art and STEAM challenges to games, movement, and collaborative play — all designed to spark imagination while nurturing teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and positive relationships. Breakfast and afternoon snack provided (students should bring a lunch).

Free, low-cost, and affordable infant, toddler, preschool, and before- and after-school programs for ages 0-12

Options for Learning is proud to partner with Rowland Unified School District to offer the following programs. To learn more or to apply, please contact us, and an intake specialist will help determine your eligibility and review available options.

EARLY LEARNING (INFANT/TODDLER AND PRESCHOOL; AGES 0-5)

Infant/toddler program
  • Serving ages 0-2 and expectant mothers;
  • Full-day, full-year center- and home-based infant/toddler programs;
  • Free for low-income and qualifying families.
Preschool program
  • Serving ages 3-4;
  • Full-day, full-year programs;
  • Center- and home-based programs;
  • Free for low-income and qualifying families; low-cost and full-pay options available.

SCHOOL-AGE (GRADES TK-8)

  • Before- and after-school sessions offered during the school year and year-round;
  • Before-school sessions are available as early as 6:30 a.m.; after-school programs conclude at 6 p.m.
  • Free or low-cost are for qualified families who are working, seeking employment, or attending vocational training; some full-cost options are available;
  • Quality program in a safe, well-supervised environment operated by educated and highly skilled staff;
  • Convenient locations located on RUSD school sites.
